Royal Alcazar of Seville is, without any doubt, one of the most important monuments in the city of Seville. It is made up of a group of palaces and gardens built throughout the entire history of the city and surrounded by a strong wall.
Today it is one of the oldest royal palaces that still in use in Europe and its mix of architectural styles make it a unique place to explore the fascinating history of the city of Seville.
As we have already mentioned, the interior of the Alcázar is made up of a set of palaces built throughout the history. Inside the monument we can find an Almohad patio from the 12th century, the Gothic palace built by Alfonso X known as the Wise in the13th century, the spectacular Mudejar palace of Pedro I built in the 14th century or part of the old Casa de Contratación in Seville.
In addition to these magnificent buildings, the interior of the wall includes 7 hectares of gardens that are a real delight and probably one of the most beautiful places in Seville.
The Alcazar of Seville has two different schedules depending on the time of year.

Reduced ticket for students and retirees from the EU: €7
Children under 13: €1
